While in Mont Tremblant, we had the pleasure of dining at some of the restaurants right in the village. We started out each day with a gourmet breakfast buffet at The Fairmont followed by different activities between stuffing our faces with the most delicious food! Below are some of our favourite food places to eat in the village and if you missed it, check out my review for Windigo at The Fairmont.
We have been to this restaurant each time we have visited the village and it has always been very good! For lunch we ordered the wonton soup, O Wok green salad followed by the red tuna, duck legs, and beef fried rice. Each dish was tasty and beautifully plated but the dish that left us wanting more was the duck legs! It was a huge portion that we all dove in to, it was full of flavour, and ever so tender. This is the dish you will want to get! The environment is cozy, the staff is friendly, and whether its lunch or dinner, you will enjoy it!
If you’re planning on dining at La Savoie make sure to reserve your table far in advance as this spot books up quickly! La Savoie is a unique spot for Raclettes and Fondues. We ordered the La Racelletes Savoyard and Broth Fondue with filet mignon, shrimp, scallops and vegetable. Your table will fill up quickly with salad, potatoes, meats, potatoes, pickled vegetables and the heater is brought out to melt the creamy cheese right on to your plate. It was a lot of fun for the whole family and Owen enjoyed cooking his own food, even boiling and eating the scallops which surprised me the most as he usually won’t touch them! Everything was delicious and if all this food wasn’t enough we finished our meal with a chocolate fondue for dessert. The pot of dark chocolate was brought out with a selection of marshmallows, strawberries and cake. It was perfect!
When it comes to poutine, our little family CAN’T turn it down and if you’re anything like us you have to try the roasted chicken poutine at Le Shack. They do have your traditional poutine along with the smoked meat but the chicken was amazing! I’m know its full of calories and maybe not something that I should have been eating right before my wedding 😉 but every bite was delicious. I’m just glad we don’t live around the corner or I would need double my work outs just to keep up with all the poutine I would be eating. It’s addicting!
Thank you Mont Tremblant for sponsoring this post.
