Our Stay At Retro Suites Hotel

Food, Motherhood, Travel

What a pleasant surprise nestled in Chatham ON and only a little over an hour drive from us. 🙂 The Retro Suites Hotel is spectacularly decorated with funky decor and retro art. The girls expressions when they first arrived were priceless!

There was so much for them to see and discover. Ella now calls this hotel “her home” and the room we stayed in is “her room” 😉 The shower was absolutely stunning and for the first time Ella decided it was time to go on the big toilet. Hopefully this doesn’t mean I need to redo our bathrooms for her to use ours. Lol. The room was spacious and perfect for my friend who came over to the hotel to visit us. We all slept well, better than at home…. my guess is we will be returning again very soon. 🙂

When you get hungry theres a restaurant called The Chilled Cork thats attached to the hotel and available for you to dine breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lots of options for little kids and the big kids. 😉

The hotel staff at The Retro Suites Hotel were absolutely lovely. I think that makes all the difference too when you’re travelling. They were very accommodating and helpful. Big hotel with a small town feel.

I wrote the manager as soon as I got home just to say a quick thank you again for having us. I will definitely be back and I hope you will check it out too! 🙂

We found our Christmas Tree at Tree Lane Farms

Fashion, Motherhood

We have never had a real tree before but when the owner of Tree Lane Farms asked to swap  a tree for a Baby Be Mine Coconut bath, I couldn’t say no. 😉 Tree Lane Farm is owned by the most wonderful family and as soon as you step foot on the grounds your heart will be filled with Christmas spirit.

At Tree Lane Farms you can cut your own tree, take a pre cut tree home, enjoy hot chocolate by the fire and visit their reindeer. Its absolute magic!

This is part 1 of our Christmas shoot so I don’t want to share too much too soon but if you don’t have your Christmas tree yet Tree Lane Farms is a place you’ll need to check out. X0x0x
